The UNICEF Central and Mazar Zone Office team, together with ODESC’s health team, conducted a joint monitoring visit to Surkhab and Arab Aqsa Clinics, as well as the Provincial and Maternity Hospitals in Faryab Province.
During the visit, UNICEF highly appreciated ODESC’s efforts and commended the successful implementation of the HER Project. The team also recognized the remarkable progress made in reducing maternal and child mortality and, in recognition of these achievements, introduced the head of the Maternity Hospital as a UNICEF Ambassador for the Northern Region.
