Teachers/Facilitator 6-day pre-service training for women in Nuristan province
the sessions were conducted in an interactive environment, and participants showed active participation and strong preparedness for the upcoming class activities.

In Nangarhar Province, ODESC staff successfully completed a 6-day pre-service training for teachers under the SDL project in April 2026.
A total of 70 facilitators (women and men) from Bati Kot, Rodat, and Ghani Khel districts participated in the training.

The tender opening process for the procurement of tailoring/embroidery and vegetable farming and food processing tool kits, implemented under the UNESCO-funded literacy-based training project in Nuristan Province, took place at the ODESC NGO main office.

VSC Committee Training | SDL Program, Nuristan Province
On 21 December 2025, a VSC training session was conducted for 13 villages, engaging around 65 committee members to strengthen community engagement and support effective implementation of the SDL Program.

Under the support of UNICEF, ODESC has improved access to safe and inclusive education in Bargmatal, Paron, Dooab, Mandol, and Noregram districts of Nuristan Province.
