As part of last week’s activities under the Nuristan Skills Development and Literacy Project, monitoring and assessment visits were conducted to classes in Parun.
Students’ learning levels were assessed, informational and awareness materials were distributed and installed, and necessary coordination was carried out with relevant authorities regarding project activities and business and financial support for students.

Teachers/Facilitator 6-day pre-service training for women in Nuristan province
the sessions were conducted in an interactive environment, and participants showed active participation and strong preparedness for the upcoming class activities.

In Nangarhar Province, ODESC staff successfully completed a 6-day pre-service training for teachers under the SDL project in April 2026.
A total of 70 facilitators (women and men) from Bati Kot, Rodat, and Ghani Khel districts participated in the training.
