ODESC Health Director visited and monitored Faryab Provincial Hospital as part of a comprehensive oversight mission.
Findings indicated that staff were present and actively performing their duties, essential medicines were available in adequate quantities, and healthcare services were being delivered efficiently and effectively.

HER-2 project rehabilitation and standardization of a total of 66 health facilities in Faryab
To date, 32 of these health facilities have been successfully rehabilitated and upgraded in accordance with established standards by the technical team of ODESC.

In Nangarhar Province, ODESC staff successfully completed a 6-day pre-service training for teachers under the SDL project in April 2026.
A total of 70 facilitators (women and men) from Bati Kot, Rodat, and Ghani Khel districts participated in the training.

ODESC team recently conducted a field visit to Kamdesh District in Nuristan Province as part UNESCO Project Activity
During the visit, 11 classes were observed to assess student attendance, learning conditions, and overall classroom organization. The majority of students were actively engaged in their lessons, and classes were running in a normal and orderly manner.
